James founded Resolver because he got frustrated with trying to get his boiler mended. He hates complaining and needed support and did not know where to turn – and so the idea was born. He pursued four friends to help fund setting up the company and as they say the rest is history.
James is now the Managing Director of Resolver and has by accident become a specialist in consumer rights and now writes a weekly column for a number of national and regional newspapers as well as provides commentary on consumer issues for the media and advises regulators and Government on consumer issues.
The best customer service James has received was a free meal for his son when he accidently ordered the wrong kid’s meal at Nando’s. It was the way the person helped him made James appreciate that good service does not cost a lot but will ensure they keep going back for a cheeky Nando’s.
